Rental: Mickey Gilley in Concert!

Mickey Gilley has been wowing fans with his haunting sound of Louisiana rhythm and blues since 1957. Mickey grew up with his two famous cousins, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Jimmy Swaggart, surrounded by the influence of music. Gilley made his chart topper debut with his song "Is It Wrong For Loving You." After moving to Pasadena, Texas in 1971, Gilley opened his world-famous Honky-Tonk night club. He continued to show chart success with hits like "City Lights" and "Don't the Girls All Get Prettier at Closing Time" both of which reached number one on the Billboard Country Charts. At age 82, Gilley continues to tour nationwide and sing his hits!

Jimmy Fortune toured, sang and performed with the legendary Statler Brothers for 21 years. Fortune quickly lived up to his name. He wrote the group’s second No. 1 hit, “Elizabeth,” on their 1983 album Today, and followed that with two more No. 1 hits–“My Only Love” (from 1984’s Atlanta Blue) and “Too Much On My Heart” (from 1985’s Pardners in Rhyme). Fortune also wrote the top-10 hit “Forever” from 1986’s Four for the Show and co-wrote the top-10 hit “More Than a Name on the Wall” from 1988’s The Greatest Hits.

After the Statler Brothers retired on October 26, 2002, Jimmy seized the opportunity to launch a solo career to share new music with his fans. His first solo CD, When One Door Closes, was released August 2003 on Audium/Koch. He released a gospel album, I Believe, in June 2005, a Christmas CD, Feels Like Christmas, in 2006, a live concert DVD in 2007 a country CD, Windowsin 2009, Lessons in 2012, and Hits and Hymns CD and DVD through Spring House Productions in 2015. Jimmy is currently living in Nashville, writing, and touring.

Then he meanders into the 70's and 80's where we were introduced to outlaw country, then on to the present. Penrod doesn't simply talk the talk, he definitely walks the walk and his passion for this genre of music is obvious in this incredible showcase. Jake attracted national attention as a featured guest on RFD-TV’s TruCountry, and was a regular cast member on RuralTV’s Texas Pickin’ Party where he not only sang, but was also the program’s pedal steel guitarist.

Johnny Lee, was born in Texas City, Texas, and is a member of the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame. In 1968, he began a 10-year working relationship with Mickey Gilley, at the world-famous nightclub, Gilley’s, in Pasadena, Texas. 

He was asked to perform in the film, Urban Cowboy, which starred John Travolta and Deborah Winger. "Lookin' For Love" came from that movie soundtrack and became Lee's 1st “Gold Record.” The song spent 3 weeks as #1 on the Billboard Country Music Charts and #2 on the Pop Music Charts, later becoming one of the Top 100 best Country Songs of All Time. His string of Top 10 hits include: "One In A Million," - "Bet Your Heart On Me," - "Cherokee Fiddle," - "Sounds Like Love," - "Hey Bartender," -  "You Could've Heard a Heart Break,” and Many, Many More.

Big D & Bubba's Game Night

Game Night is a mix between a game show, a live talk show, and an improv comedy performance. It was conceived as a way for the show to visit cities around the country where the show is heard and do more than just shake hands and pose for selfies.

“Basically, it’s just us doing everything we can to entertain the audience,” says Big D. “We want to make sure everyone has a ton of fun.”

The Big D and Bubba show is heard on over 75 country radio stations around the country and they are the official country morning show for AFN, heard in 177 countries on every military base and every ship at sea. The show is heard locally on KNUE 101.5, which is the show’s longest continuous affiliate. They’ve been on KNUE for almost 19 years.

Bubba adds “We are really looking forward to the show! Carsen and Patrick and all of our friends from KNUE will be there too!”

This favored son of Texas has received standing ovations by audiences ranging from the Ryman Auditorium to Carnegie Hall. His debut album, Introducing Johnny Rodriguez, went to #1 on all three major trade charts, and by 1973 he was nominated by the Country Music Association for "Male Vocalist of the Year" and won the Billboard Trend Setter Award for first Mexican-American to capture a national audience.

Just a few of Johnny's classic hits during this period included "Pass Me By," "You Always Come Back (To Hurting Me)," "Riding My Thumb To Mexico," "That's The Way Love Goes," and "Just Get Up And Close The Door." He was inducted into the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame in 2007.

"Elvis is alive” or so Elvis’ biggest fans say today! Elvis and his music live today because of Elvis Tribute Artist like Andy King (Andreas Stolzenthaler) from Sulzfeld, Germany and Moses Snow, a local Fort Worth ETA.

“Elvis on my Mind” takes you on a journey through all of Elvis’ genres. Moses Snow, the fastest rising 15-year-old ETA of the year, starts your journey in the 50’s.

Shake Rattle & Roll, a national and locally recognized 50 & 60's tribute show group, kicks off the show with their high energy tunes. The Las Vegas Doo-Wop winners will take you on a ride of your lives with their toe-tappin’, twisting mix of rock and roll, comedy and rockin’ tunes.

“Elvis on My Mind” will truly have you leaving with ‘Elvis on your mind’ and in your heart.

On this film by Guillermo del Toro, a girl fascinated with fairy-tales is sent along with her pregnant mother to live with her new stepfather, a ruthless captain of the Spanish army. During the night, she meets a fairy who takes her to an old faun in the center of the labyrinth.

Moby Dick! the Musical

The girls of St. Godley's School are in trouble! Money for the school has run out, and the place will have to close. Leave it to these resourceful girls and their unflappable headmistress, to come up with a plan to keep the school afloat. Using whatever they can find at hand, the girls mount an original production as a fundraiser: a musical version of Moby Dick, featuring their headmistress in the coveted role of Captain Ahab. A high energy, hilarious spoof on Melville's classic tale!
