Tracy Byrd is an American country music artist. Signed to MCA Nashville Records in 1993, Byrd broke through on the country music scene that year with his single "Holdin' Heaven", which reached Number One on Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks. Although he did not land a second Number One until 2002's "Ten Rounds with Jose Cuervo", Byrd has charted more than thirty hit singles in his career, including eleven additional Top Ten hits. In 2016, the multi platinum recording artist, Tracy Byrd, released his first album in 10 years titled All American Texan.

Someone You Love

NET Health is implementing an educational grant from the Texas Department of State Health Services that is aimed to increase the HPV vaccination rates among kids, teens and young adults between the ages of 9 - 26.  The HPV vaccine has been proven to prevent the development of cervical cancer, throat cancer, and many diseases by having a person to complete the HPV series of vaccinations during their youth.

"Someone You Love" is an 80 minute movie that tells the story of five families who have been affected in one way or another by someone who did or did not receive the HPV vaccine.

This movie is available for any parent, any school student, college student or interested community member to view.  NET Health will also be able to provide 1.3 Continuing Education Units (CEU's) for doctors, nurses, and pharmacists who would like to attend this free public showing of "Someone You Love".

Al is a multi award-winning Elvis Tribute Artist who has taken his show across the country for the past 12 years. He is considered one of the top Elvis tribute artists in the business, having won first place at the 2016 Ultimate Orlando, and finishing in the top 5 in the world at the 2017 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest in Memphis. In October 2017, Al won first place at the Elvis Fantasy Festival in Portage, IN. This victory earned Al a spot to compete for the 3rd year in a row at the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest in Memphis in August 2018, where he placed 4th in the world. Al loves performing every era of Elvis, and considers it the highest privilege to give tribute to the greatest entertainer of all time.

The Man With No Name (Clint Eastwood) enters the Mexican village of San Miguel in the midst of a power struggle among the three Rojo brothers (Antonio Prieto, Benny Reeves, Sieghardt Rupp) and sheriff John Baxter (Wolfgang Lukschy). When a regiment of Mexican soldiers bearing gold intended to pay for new weapons is waylaid by the Rojo brothers, the stranger inserts himself into the middle of the long-simmering battle, selling false information to both sides for his own benefit.

Soon the band hired a young guitarist named Willie Nelson, and Johnny and Willie became lifelong friends. Johnny went on to play and sing with Texas legends Ray Price, Bob Wills and Lefty Frizzell. His solo hits started coming in 1967 with "Undo the Right" and his own version of "Whiskey River."

Like her brother, Jerry Lee, Rockabilly Hall of Fame member, Linda Gail Lewis, soaked up the sounds of hillbilly music and rhythm and blues in the rural areas of Louisiana as a youngster. When Jerry Lee began to score hits with “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On” and “Great Balls of Fire," he singlehandedly lifted the family from dire poverty to a life of relative ease. Linda Gail’s chief inspiration was Jerry Lee, but later, as the era of rock ‘n’ roll came into play, she also tuned into the sounds of Brenda Lee, Patsy Cline and Lavern Baker. She toured with Jerry for 18-years and performs more than 150 concerts annually, many of which are overseas.

Join the Tyler Junior College Jazz Ensembles and guest artist "Blue Lou" Marini for the 2018 ETSO Jazz Spectacular. One of the most sought after session horn players on saxophone, flute and clarinet, solo artist, arranger and composer Lou Marini has electrified audiences with his "sultry, seductive and singular" sounds in jazz, rock, blues, classical music and in film and television shows and specials

He's been a member of Blood, Sweat and Tears, The Saturday Night Live Band, The Original Blues Brothers Band and his credits include hundreds of albums, many of which have gone platinum.

He has recorded with such luminaries as Eric Clapton, Aretha Franklin, Tony Bennett, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Lou Reed and Frank Zappa, Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, The Band and Steely Dan to name just a few.

Come to our first night of Reel Talk, a new program created by the Tyler Public Library and Liberty Hall, where attendees can watch timeless classics and discover new favorites, then stay afterward to connect with like-minded people by discussing the film. For our first night, we will watch and discuss Alien (1979). This sci-fi mystery takes place in deep space, where the crew of the commercial starship Nostromo is awakened from their cryo-sleep capsules halfway through their journey home to investigate a distress call from an alien vessel. The terror begins when the crew encounters a nest of eggs inside the alien ship. An organism from inside an egg leaps out and attaches itself to one of the crew, causing him to fall into a coma.
